Philae and Rosseta. A dialogue between machines of loving grace.

The dialogue that Philae and Rosseta had on twitter the days of the #CometLanding made us think how provocative, intriguing and wonderful is to realize that now we have reached the time when it’s possible to read a conversation between ‘machines of loving grace’, as Richard Brautigan envisioned on his poem All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace, written in 1967.

“With its batteries depleted and not enough sunlight available to recharge, Philae has fallen into ‘idle mode’ for a potentially long silence. In this mode, all instruments and most systems on board are shut down.” Philae is taking a necessary nap before charging again it’s batteries.
